Not every problem in your niche is a good AI opportunity. The question isn't whether AI could theoretically be applied — it's whether AI genuinely unlocks something that wasn't possible or practical before. There's an important distinction: some problems are just being sped up by AI, while others are structurally changed. Speed-ups are real, but they're easy to replicate. Structural changes create more durable products.
The trap is mistaking novelty for opportunity. AI demos are impressive. It's easy to look at what AI can do and immediately see ten potential applications in your niche.
