The most valuable signal for improving your AI copilot comes from real users using it for real work. But that signal doesn't collect itself. Without a deliberate feedback loop, you end up with a biased sample — you hear from the users who complain loudly, and you miss the subtler patterns that reveal where the AI is consistently falling short.
The trap is building feedback mechanisms that are too demanding. If flagging a bad output requires users to fill out a form, almost no one will do it. Feedback mechanisms need to be frictionless — one click or one tap. The value is in the pattern across many data points, not the richness of any individual response.
