Risk doesn't disappear when you don't name it. It just remains invisible until it causes a problem. One of the most useful things a founder can do before committing significant time and money to a build is to name all the things that could go wrong — and then make deliberate choices about which ones to actively manage.

This exercise asks you to do a complete risk inventory: technical, market, competitive, execution, and personal. Each category tends to surface different kinds of risk, and founders who only look at one tend to get caught by the others. The market risk that isn't on the list because 'we're confident in the market' is often the one that causes the most trouble.
