Up to this point, you've been working from a mix of belief, observation, and informed guessing. Validation is where you start replacing those with evidence.
Good validation isn't a single event. It's a small set of deliberate experiments and conversations, each one designed to test a specific assumption underneath your idea. Plan them in advance and you'll learn fast. Skip the planning and validation becomes whatever you happen to do.
This exercise gives you a plan for the next few weeks of validation — concrete enough that you'd know whether you followed it.
What to aim for
