Conversion copy is the writing that turns a curious visitor into a paying user. It lives on your landing page, in your outreach emails, in the product itself. And most of it fails — not because founders can't write, but because they write from the wrong starting point. They describe the product rather than the problem. They lead with features rather than outcomes. They assume the reader already cares.

Good conversion copy starts from the user's perspective. What are they worried about? What have they already tried that hasn't worked? What would it mean to them if this worked? The headline answers the "why would I care" question in under three seconds. The body earns the right to explain how. The CTA removes as much friction from the next step as possible.
