Your initial offer is more than a price. It's the complete package of what someone gets, what they pay, and why they should say yes now rather than wait. Most early-stage offers fail not because the product is wrong, but because the offer is unclear, incomplete, or uncompelling in the moment when a potential user is deciding.

A strong initial offer has four parts: it's clear what you get, it's clear what you pay, it's clear why this is worth it, and it answers the most obvious questions before they're asked. Founders often skip one of these. They describe the product well but don't name a price. Or they name a price but don't explain the value.
